Classes and Workshops
Please note, we require at least 5 days notice for cancellation refunds. This allows the studio to refill your spot. We do not offer refunds after “series” classes start since you’ve used a spot someone else could have taken.

We provide a space for makers of all skill levels to experience the art of clay.

The Bunkhouse Studios offers day passes for $25 per day.
Day passes are ideal for those with clay experience who like to work in the studio on occasion.
After purchasing your pass online, new visitors need to arrange a tour and schedule a pass time by emailing julie@thebunkhousestudios1.com. Previous pass holders please confirm date.
This is for members beginning in Febuary 2025 and after only. Members use a member code to receive a 10% discount on classes and 5% discount on clay. A month membership offers access to the artisan/pottery studio outside of class time during operating hours (8 wheels, extruder, rolling slab, tools). Members are expected to be able to work independently and will have 1 dedicated shelf (fits 4 ware boards) and locker space for tool and clay storage. No instruction is included.

Want to try a marbling wheel thrown pottery? Then the Klamath Clay Sample Flight is for you! A potter's sampling of four of our ever-popular and super colorful Klamath stoneware clay bodies, comes in 12 lb. blocks of Klamath Red, Klamath Yellow, Klamath Buff, and Klamath Brown Clay. All four fire at cone 5, and give you a nice color selection to play with. Or buy and use seperately! All a great for throwing, dinnerware, jiggering/jollying, and pressing. They are also great for handbuilding.
Choose from brown or white mid-range fire stoneware to work with in your pottery adventures, both are available! Allow 24 hours from purchase time to pickup clay. Firing is included with clay purchases of up to 20 mid size pieces per month (less than 8” high, and under 10” wide).

Bags of reclaimed clay are a mix of leftover scraps from the studio of our brown and white mid-range fire stoneware which has been remixed into “new” reusable and rework-able clay for your pottery adventures! Cone 6 Glaze
Brush 3-4 coats on 06-04 bisque ware. For best results use a fan style brush. Allow each glaze to dry thoroughly before glaze firing to cone 6.
Tool Sets
A beginners kit of various tools to utilize when working with clay. Includes tools such as wire clay cutter, sponge, wooden and metal ribs, needle tool, wood modeling tool, and more.
